Question: Where can I get pc board ties?

My LHS has had them on order for what seems like months.   http://www.handlaidtrack.com/ seams like the 1/16th in. switch ties have been on perpetual back order (they do have 1/32 in.). So, is there another place to get them?

I have all the equipment to build my own turnouts, except for the pc ties.  I am itching to get started but I feel like I have hit a brick wall.  I have been waiting for my LHS because the price seems very reasonable, $5 for 30 HO switch ties or 60 HO ties.

I am open for any advice.  I hope to present a track plan soon.

Fast tracks will get them to you ASAP and they are a MRH advertiser.  Clover House, while not a MRH advertiser also carries them.

Packaging them up as we speak!

Hi,

We have been waiting on a supply of raw PC board material, which arrived last week and over the last couple of days we are chopping PC boards as fast as possible.

The HO turnout ties are being bagged now and a hundred bags or so will be available on the site later today.  N scale turnout ties will follow.

Sorry for the delay.

Good news.

I ordered some this week and the website said they were in stock. Can't wait to get them. Thanks Tim.

As for another supplier, try Clover House

Supporting advertisers

With Tim at Fast Tracks responding so quickly, why even consider a non-advertising supplier?

Placed my order

Thanks Tim, I placed my order today.

Duck - The only reason to consider a non-advertising supplier is cost and convenience. But now that Fast Tracks has them in stock, I happily support them.
