I think I remember reading where the decision was made to only have the newsletters available for reading online. If I am mistaken someone correct me.

Model Railroading in HO Scale
With our new bi-monthly schedule of the magazine, we elected to drop back to only an online HTML version of our news in order to ease our workload. We figure that news is transitory anyway, so there's limited value in doing a download that you can keep. And having the extra time back to devote to our more aggressive magazine schedule really helps.
In the months we release a magazine, the news will be part of the magazine as it is now, so that hasn't changed.
Actually, doing an HTML-only version of the news works quite well if you're willing to explore RSS feeds. With RSS, any updates come to you autmatically, without you needing to lift a finger - not unlike how email works. Most email readers (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc) include a built-in RSS feed reader, so you are most likely all set!

It's worth noting that you can't do this with a PDF.

Works for me as I never saved the news letter anyway. It would be like saving the Daily news.
