Any updates? Also, can you

Any updates?

Also, can you change our Login ID when we move?  I have been considering that for a while now (not sure I like using my whole real name, in this day and age). But I am not sure I want to start a new account..  and lose my history.

Good point.  At another

Good point.  At another forum, there is one guy who has changed his forum name many times - probably for the reason Doug mentioned.  There are up-sides to having a generic forum name, such as protection of being anonymous.  The down side is people can troll more and hide behind that generic name.  And trolling, in-general these days, is at an all time high.  There are a few here who troll with their signatures, which seem pretty bad.  I am discouraged every time I see some of the signatures.

Speaking of trolling

I have several e-mails under different names. One is for my website. I started getting mail stating I needed to pay some guy in bit coin so much money or he would release sexually explicit pictures he had gotten. He stated he had put spyware on my computer and if I didn't comply he would send pictures to all my contacts in my e-mail address book. Well I don't keep any names in my e-mail address book just because of that reason. This told me he didn't have any info and was using the fear factor to try and coerce me into paying him. I finally figure it out how they got my e-mail address. If you go into your account on this site it asks you to enter your e-mail address. I just tried to leave it blank. it won't let you. So I just put in a bogus e-mail address.

I also noticed I was getting a lot of spam mail on my website e-mail account. I finally figured out it was the e-mail address to contact the owner of the website I had added when you mouse over was attracting the rover robots that scan for e-mail address's. I changed that to using (at) and (dot) to fool the robots.

Joe if you're reading this my I suggest that on the new forum that gets left out. As a matter of fact lets not have the account open of members. The only way in to your account would be having to use your password. I guess the question is, is it really necessary to have all the info in the account?
