Oyumaru is Great Stuff

A few months ago I finally pulled the trigger and bought some Oymaru and Superfine Milliput.  Since then I've been using them to create and reproduce parts.  In my case, I reproduced a missing end sill from a vintage box car kit, as well as creating a bunch of bananas and duplicating them for a Fruit Juice stand I scratch built.  You'd think somebody somewhere makes HO scale bananas by the bunch but no.  Bananas in crates or bushel baskets, sure, but a loose bunch of bananas is too much to ask.  Fortunately it was easy to make and the Oyumaru made it simple to reproduce.

I also used some to make molds of a few other detail parts so that whenever I mixed a pinch of Milliput none would go to waste.  It is not that expensive but it's not cheap either and why let it go to waste.  I watched PLASMO's excellent video a few times and he does a great job of explaining how to use it.  Give this a try.
