A well written question and answer article with just enough pictures to wet the appetite. One of these each month would be great to me just not leading into the NMRA convention.

Actually, that's the plan going forward -- a layout story pretty much every month in MRH. It won't always be the cover story, though.

We ran out of layout stories last summer and haven't had one for a while. But we're going on the road more now shooting these stories for the convention -- and also picking cities and shooting layouts there just because we need to do more layouts!

I loved this article. The question and answers flowed in a logical way and the whole thing proceeded as a story.  There was nothing chopped up about it.  I will be at the SLC NMRA convention and hope to be able to see this layout.
