Remotoring 1950-60's Mantua engines

Any good advice and pics re remotoring the old Mantua 0-4-0 &  0-6-0 engines appreciated. I have added  new 754 linkages, Sergent couplers, lights, figures  etc. Idid use some NWSL stuff - any other ideas?

Need advice on motors- especially suppliers -want to run engines as slow as possible. Also anyone successful with DCC controls?

May thanks from MaindeFer- "Rebuilding the Oldies"

Hanns, welcome to the forums.

Hanns, welcome to the forums. I will send you a private message via your contact with a link to one blog that one of my friends is doing. It deals with remotoring mantua locomotives and other things as well.

http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/30211

I am also posting the link here in case this is where you are looking. In addition to these things such as asking in a new topic that Rick mentioned you can also type some of the info into the search box at the upper right of the page. I often do both so that I can get the most complete answers.

The reason to post it in a new topic instead of an existing one is to get the most exposure for your question. Some folks skip some topics as they have no interest in them or after going through them they tend not to stop back often.

I hope you find this helpful in your quest for information.
