Fantastic City Scape

OK, first in all fairness, I must disclose I am a member of this club (WPMRA).  That being said, pictures do not do justice to the work Bruce does.  He works tirelessly to perfect our city scape down to the smallest details which only serves to make for better optics.  While the club layout is fully operational, it is a continuing work in progress, so at times Bruce has to climb and contort himself in and on the layout to achieve his goal (something I certainly couldn't do!), and the results are amazing.  Kudos to Bruce for a job well done.

Modeling vermont

Glad to see another modeler interested in Vermont in the early diesel area.  I am modellng from White River Junction to Barre with an extension to the granite quarries in Graniteville.

I am trying, like you, to create buildings using photos -- a la Mindheim.  Finding it rewarding but not easy.

Excellent

Bruce it looks awesome as this is what I was trying to figure out as well.  I have several flat sided buildings but was trying to figure out how to add the depth look.  You gave me some ideas to possibly try and see how they come out.  I am using the black board instead of the white so that it hides the edges.  Great job again

Phantom Buildings

Great work and an idea I am going to steal.  I think I will try it on country road stuff too.  Will be interesting to see if I can get the same effect as you Brucre.

Nice Work

The effect you achieve is so realistic it's pretty much impossible to tell how deep this scene really is.  Excellent job!
