Terrific

Thanks David.  I really enjoyed your article.  I have many kits to build, but I am interested in doing some scratch building.  I have a "built up" water tank that I'd like to make unique, so I think I am going to be building a pump house for it!

Hi, I model the 1950's Western Maryland, so forgive me if this question sounds peculiar.  What is the purpose of the head frame?  Did it support connections to other machinery?  I think it is definitely a cool feature and I love how it was created with the mortis and tenon joinery, just wondering about the purpose it served.

The Layout/Installation of the pump house...

Really enjoyed your article.  Pls excuse my ignorance.  How did you incorporate the pump house in relation to the water tank, well/reservoir in your diorama?  A plan view sketch with an explanation of the piping would help me visualize it.  Thanks for your effort.
