A Little Too Late . . .

Hi Bruce,

I wish I'd have known about this back in March!  I visited my Uncle in Mesa for a week and would have loved to stop by.  Next time . . .

Gee, Michael . . .

I've talked about this railroad in my columns for five years!

Would love to have had you.

Bruce sorry to hear about

Bruce sorry to hear about your loss. It is always a tough situation when a family member passes, I am glad you were able to spend so much time with him over the years. Hopefully over time you will be able to replace the memory of his passing with memories of the good times you had through the years.

Hopefully over time you will

Thanks, Rob. The healing has begun. I don't really want to dwell on the downslope.

Open House, Christmas Eve

We will have the garden and GLW (HO) layouts running for the holidays at our annual Christmas open house.

The hours are 10 AM to noon on 12/24/16.

Stop by if you are near Goodyear AZ that day.

I-10, exit 126. Head north on PebbleCreek Parkway. Turn right at the light at Clubhouse Drive. Check in with the guard gate for directions to the Activities Center.

Lost our room

Our HOA wants the room back that the PebbleCreek Model Railroad Club has been occupying for the last 13+ years.

So, begins the process of selling and removing.

Going modular

I'm beginning to think that any club that isn't already modular, or looking that direction, should either be nervous or own their own building.

Too many getting the boot these days.

That's a shame

That's a shame. Bruce. Do they have a community room that would allow a monthly modular set-up?  Permanent arrangements are tough for an HOA to deal with sometimes.
