What a dirty, gritty, beautiful beast!  Great job on the upgrades and weathering Neil!  Being the weak-willed type, it makes me wonder how it'd look with IAIS patches.

Piggybacks

Great job Neil. What he din't tell you about the piggybacks is he modified a few tunnel portals. Here is my chance to get even. See attached photo.0railfan.jpg

Neil Schofield the master of detail

Yep, that's a beast for sure.

Neil is famous for his attention to detail on just about everything he does...not just locos. Check out his structures Unreal! This is just another example.

The wheel slip indicators are a classic example of something small that adds big impact. That is a very prominent detail, and especially noteworthy on Alco Centurys for some reason. I saw Neil's handy work years ago and said "I have to do that someday!" I did the same detail on a couple Allagash C425s and it made a world of difference. If I have a question about diesel detailing, I always go to Neil for advice.

Neil built a chop-nose RS3 for me a few years ago and I am still amazed at how great it looks. It's probably THE coolest locomotive on my roster.

Engine modifications

Mike

Not to give him any bigger head than you and the other guys have, but he was detailing Athearn and Atlas  engines when the photo was taken, as well as destroying my tunnel portals..
