Thank You!

I've been a big fan of Tim Dickinson's BN layout since finding the videos of it on Youtube. I've been waiting for an article like this for quite some time.

Thanks!

Loved the Article

I really enjoyed the article. As someone who has helped (in a small way) Tim on his layout and operated on the layout I can attest it is a amazing layout. I'm glad Bob and MRH did the article.

I encourage those that have not watched the Youtube video of Tim's layout to watch it.

Outstanding Layout

Tim has an outstanding layout and has one of the best operating sessions videos on YouTube. I really hope TMTV pays his layout a visit and if it films an operating session that would be even better!

Great article

Great article, I was able to pick up some great ideas. I did notice one thing and it's gonna be really dumb to ask but I can't help myself..... In one photo there is a spray can of Raid..... Is it for something besides the obvious?? Railroader modelers are a resourceful bunch so......

thanks

Tim Dickinson's BN

Great looking road. I too model the BN in 1977 around Twin Cities and Northtown yard.

Where is Tim's layout located?

Tim's layout

It's been some 15 years since I lived in Southern California and used to visit and operate on Tim's layout. It sure has undergone vast changes thanks to the dedication to design and attention to detail. Tim and his crew are to be commended on such an excellent layout

Great to See more of Tim's Layout

Great layout Tim,

The article and youtube videos keep me wanting more.  The early BN lashups are a modelers dream.

Inspiring

Tim's layout is beyond impressive.  The early BN lashups are authentic, and the quality of modeling is superb.  One of the best layout articles in MRH.

BN

The author mentions a few manufacturers that make it possible to accurately model a prototype.  Rapido should be mentioned as well.
