Well done!

I really like the idea on this simple tool that makes it much easier and safer to score / cut.  If you want to help the rule be non-slip you could add a small piece of non-slip drawer liner or cork to the rule bottom.  I have a 16" ruler that came with cork installed on it and it really helps keep the rule from slipping during use.

Excellant idea

Thanks for a great idea.  Since I still have a lot of trouble holding things, especially rulers, with my off-hand, this will help a lot to control the slippage.  And the safety factor is always most important.  I'll have to build one right away.

And Rick is right, the drawer/shelf liner has been a big help too.
