Agway feed mill

A superb article by Neil Schofield on the Agway feed mill in Gill or Bernardston, Mass. in the latest issue.         The only way it could be improved was to have been on modeling the original Agway, nee Crosby Milling, plant in Brattleboro, VT that it and a small, and now gone, Agway mill in Bradford, VT replaced. Neil's techniques and fidelity to detail are wonderful. Alas, however, this is strictly a diesel era feed mill and I'd love to see such a great article on building the earlier plant in Brattleboro that was served by steam for years and diesels well into the 1970's as well. His techniques applied to the original plant might encourage more of us to tackle rail served industries of such a size from the transition era.

Cordially, Don Valentine
