Battery Power

In your reviews of battery/RC you should also include the CVP AirWire system http://www.cvpusa.com/airwire_system.php

It uses your existing decoder (including sound) to take full advantage of the technologies.   It does use a plug in charging system, however, other style battery/chargers are available elsewhere.

Battery power

Fantastic news..........a review on the battery systems.  I was just going to purchase a DCC unit when I stumbled onto the S-Cab web site.  Needless to say I'm going to wait until I see your review to help me decide which way to proceed.

Thanks, Very timely for me

Leaving your comfort zone

I enjoyed the article about modelers leaving their comfort zone. When I joined my modular railroad club I was good at laying track and building car kits. My membership in the club required that I build a module. Adding scenery to that module gave me nightmares, but my fellow club members kept telling me the same thing the author stated in his article. Just try it and don't be afraid to mess up the first time. We all do. After three attempts and some helpful advice from fellow club members, my module is now show worthy. I"m glad I took the step out of my comfort zone and made the effort to try something different every time someone ask questions about my module at the many trains shows we do in Georgia.
