missing pictures

Hi guys,

There are a few missing pictures in Don Hanley's boxcar article (starting on pg. 57).  Pictures #1, 3, and 6 are missing.  This is in the standard pdf version (both landscape and portrait versions) when viewed on an iMac and an iPad.  Those same images are visible when viewing the online version on both devices.  Seems similar to the picture glitch from Feb 2013 issue.

Correct-- The images are visible in the online version, but they're not when downloaded.

I see them

In the PC Standard Download Landscape version I see all the pictures in Hanley's article using WinXP SP3 with Adobe Reader V11.0.2.

This is the file I downloaded last night:

Missing images is an iOS problem

Missing images is an iOS problem - we've seen it before and we know how to fix it. We didn't have the usual bake-in period this time so we're collecting glitches today and will be releasing a "corrected" edition tomorrow for things like iPads.

Coal Trains

I was given your web site by a friend today and decided to check it out.  Imagine how surprised I was to see a map of coal mines I used to truck to in Alberta.  I spent several years hauling diesel into the cardinal river and coal valley mines for use in the equipment and as explosive additive for the mining process..  it was added to fertalizer to make the big blasts you see in the open pit mines.  I will continue to check out your online mag as it has so far brought back some great memories.  By the way the movable storage tanks and piping system would make a great side project for a mine site.

Bill, I went to the site after talking to you and saw your post.  I had downloaded the files and were looking at them on my Mac and the photos are showing up fine.  You may have a corrupted download.
