I thought on-line magazine is where to advertise your show?

February 9, 2013, The Warrior Express announcement was sent in several times, but somehow did not make it to the Feb issue?

Yes, I have had the same result over the past two years sending advice about the Dunedin Model Train Show in New Zealand in Mothers Day weekend in May, but have never made the cut.

However, there is not a direct lead to send this advice in, such as with the Products Announcements on Page 22.

So I am wondering if I was sending the advice to the correct address, or whether a show in little New Zealand was too small to be selected.

I'll check with Richard Bale about the event

I'll check with Richard Bale about your event. I assume you used the official product and event announcement link to send it in? Just using email isn't as reliable because it's too easy for it to get lost.

Richard also reminds me often this is "Selected" events. It is not *every little event* ... Richard does edit out some events that he sees as "too local to be of broad interest". Richard makes the judgment call on this.

Would it be possible to advise where the official product and event announcement link to send it in is located in MRH please?

I have just looked through the February 2013 issue and could not locate any such link.

News item/Event Submission

Trevor,

Please use the form at this link for event submissions for the magazine:

http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/contact/news_product_announcement

Additionally, you can post the event here on the website at:

http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/hobby_event_notices

The two aren't connected (future project), so you'll probably want to use both.

Thanks!
