Hurricane Sandy, Been Their Done That

Sorry for any ones lose. I start with the 1947 storm, and include Betsey Andrew, Camille, Katrina, Gustave, and the last one Issic, and too many others to remember. I can say this if you live by the water you will live with it. Stop complaining and move. You are not going to control Mother Nature. Just like New Orleans and Miss gulf coast it will happen again. So if you keep doing the same things and expect different results you are insane. At this point the expense for Katrina per household in New Orleans and Miss Gulf Coast is Just south of $700,000.00. You could move everyone and give them all new homes for a hell of a lot less. This is my opinion. We need to change the way we approach the aftermath of many natural disasters. The local government officials will fight this change because they lose their power.
