Not changing too fast

Hello all;

I just read this article, and it seems like a step in the right direction. However, I hope that the old desktop or laptop is not forgotten in favor of the 'kindles' of the world.

Thanks for such a great ezine. I enjoy reading it and look forward to it's release every month.

Keep up the good work,

Building the mag

Very interesting background article on how you produce an issue of the e-zine. Wow there's a lot involved. All the more reason for congratulations on producing such a high quality product.

What about the Barnes & Noble Nook?

Have you also looked into making MRH available on the Barnes & Noble store? It would be great to get it directly on my Nook Color from there.

Kobo

Kobo is another platform that could be useful if it was possible to gain access to the magazine via their system.

Thanks to all the staff for making such a high quality magazine.

Great Magazine

I've been subscribing to Model Railroad Hobbyist now for a little over a year.  To give you an idea how long I've been in the hobby, has been since I was a kid, except for the break while on active duty in the US Army.  But that didn't slow me down, that was just a speed bump. I retired out of Fort Carson, Colorado. My layout, the Coal Belt Lines is 27 years old, its anniversary is Memorial Day weekend.  Nice way also to tell how long we've been here too.   By the way, I also remember the controversy over: 'weather or not to weather, that is the question'.  (Sounds like Hamlet, eh?) Some purist in the hobby said a model was to be pristine while others said a model emulates the prototype - weathered and all.  Anyway, the outcome has been as far as I can see, the ones who weather their models like me won out.  # # #
