Vector

There you go again, promoting another company I never heard of and it again costs me money.  I cannot believe a 4 piece HO size cheeseburger "kit" but just had to buy those screen doors and the porch furniture.  Thanks for doing your best and bringing Vector to your readers' attention.

A little reminder.

I had run across Vector Cut a while back but had not really gave them much thought as at the time I was doing more freight car and locomotive modeling. With my current project, which includes a fully detailed interior, I was reminded of the great detail parts that Vector Cut had and promptly put in an order. Thank you MRH for providing me with that reminder that it is not just the big box places that have all the goodies.

Has anyone ordered from them lately?

I placed an order last week through their website but didn't get any kind of conformation. I also emailed Monday but haven't got a reply as of yet. I have never ordered from them before and know communications isn't top priority for some small manufacturers. Is this what you've experienced with them or should I start to worry? Bob

Recent Order

I ordered from Dave at Vector Cut a few months ago.  He doesn't send out confirmations (or at least, he didn't to me).  After he shipped my order, he sent me a note that said one of the items I ordered, the Shell Gas Station, was sold out and he forgot to update his website (dang it - love gas stations!).  And he promptly refunded the balance.

His laser cut detail parts are fantastic.  I've purchased several different items, and am amazed at the tiny parts he creates, with such fine detail.  He has been in business for at least 10 years, I think. I found out about him through the Railroad-Line.com forum.

Hanging on

Bob, the tower upgrade is one of the things I ordered.

Al, about how long did they take to ship? Just so I know when to start worrying.

Can't Remember Exactly

But I think I had the products in about a week.  I too was a bit concerned when I didn't receive any acknowledgement of an order being placed, but then the package showed up.
