This has been a very
This has been a very inspirational article for undertaking such a huge project. Although I do not plan to build a roundhouse, it has provided me with some food for thought and techniques for one of my yet to be projects. I plan to build the VIA rail station in Niagara Falls using DPM wall sections (taking the easy?? way out). What I have in place right now is a mock up built from 1/4" foam core poster board. The mock up was built by downloading the materials I will need from the DPM website and gluing them to the foam board. It is a great planning tool and has already allowed me to discover some mistakes in my ideas. Better now than later.
Your attention to detail will result in a first class prize winning model. I am looking forward to the next installment. Thanks Les.

Thank you Pirosko for the kind words. Attention to detail, as I am doing, really slows down the progress, but it is fun. I learned a lot from mistakes and tried new methods. One thing I get out of this is personal satisfaction, I guess that's what the name of the game is, isn't it?
I'm an incorrigible perfectionist sometimes it becomes arduous but as long as it is Model Railroading I can live with it even get to like it!
