Just Arrived!

Newest additions to my train layout, the Trenton Subdivision in N Scale. These superbly modelled VIA Rail Canada & Canadian National Railway FP9A engines arrived yesterday. Rapido Trains Inc. continues to produce outstanding detailed models in N scale.

Trackwork

With the forum change coming up I was going to wait and start my blog/journal/whatever over there, but I'm too excited not too!!

I finally got all my track down and ran my first train! I've never soldered before so that was kind of making me a little slow to get it done. And it's safe to say that IMO soldering is harder than it looks! I was able to solder all the feeders onto the underside of the rails because I want to hide them as much as I can. However it took many tries and many of them had to be resoldered at least once.

First track laid

Got some tracks glued down in Lynn Junction.  Test car sees them as smooth.  Need to drop feeders now to see if an engine will move.   Peco turnouts, mix of Peco and Atlas flex track.   Two inches of pink foam on a slightly padded 34" HCD.

BLOGS - MRH Website 2.0 Blocking Comments.

On the MRH 2.0,  Is it set up so people can not comment on BLOGS?  I have noticed over some time you have some real good layout story's or BLOGS,  The problem is you have to dig past 8 pages of comments before getting to the next entry in the BLOG. And almost all of it is useless comments that did not value added to that BLOG.

Camera remotes

These Bluetooth remotes were obtained from Amazon.  They are great for eliminating vibrations when clicking the shutter on tripod mounted smartphones:
