 And yet again, on a Saturday afternoon I find myself at Dana's, running one of my trains, I do so enjoy running on this layout, even more so than the one at home, of course, at Dana's, I'm in the air conditioning, something that is non-existent at home, sure I have an AC, in the house, but the train room isn't temp controlled, so during the summer I go to Dana's to run trains in the AC, likewise, in the winter, I go to Dana's to run trains when its cold outside, because just like AC in the summer, I have no heat in the train room in the winter either!!!

 Finally, we in the Trainz community now have decent D&RGW F units, reskins of the new ATSF units by NorfolkSouthern37, who literally took and completely did a new mesh and detail job on the old Auran F7 A and B units, now, finally a year later, we have them in D&RGW.

 I did promise part two didn't I, so here it is, sorry I got sidetracked!

As I promised earlier on another blog, I would do some video of the V&O, and here it is, not bad as far as Trainz routes go, however it does have its gremlins, one of the tunnels isn't complete, and there doesn't appear a way to make it complete, this tunnel also isn't a portal or iportal, so the train doesn't disappear inside it only to re emerge somewhere else on the route, the train will just crash through a mountain, go figure, could be a DLS problem or maybe a content creator problem.

Someone lamented in the forum awhile back, that MRH wasn't doing enough about the V&O, of course over the years, the V&O has been well covered by the print media, especially back in the 1970's and 80's, and since that time even, Alan McClelland has rebuilt and subsequently torn it down, however, thats not the end of the story!

I'm finally getting my hands on enough streamline passenger cars, most lettered for Santa Fe, to make a respectable Chief, still having to use heavyweights for the headend though!

I told these guys in a video awhile back, that I wouldn't allow those engines to pull another freight train, and so far, they haven't, in fact, I now have five, thats right, five streamline passenger cars to pull behind them, I didn't feel like pulling out some heavyweight headend cars, so am just running the streamliners.

Naturally I did go there to run my newly painted F3's, which now have a proper paint job, none that "east of the Mississippi", stuff.

And I did, they aren't exactly perfect, but what in life is?

I got these Stewart F3's for $30 for the pair, not a bad steal if I do say so myself, both units are powered.
